Woodbury Park in Devon recently opened two new studio spaces to grow the club’s group exercise offering.
Two brand-new Group Cycle and High Impact studios launched at the beginning of September, almost doubling the club’s class capacity to allow more members to enjoy group exercise.
The new studios can accommodate up to 28 members per class. 26 new Keiser Spin Bikes have been added into the Group Cycle studio, as well as new Les Mills and circuit training equipment for high impact classes. The studios have been developed from previously unused areas of the club, maximising the space available and adding value to existing members.
Situated 30 minutes from Exeter and a 13-minute drive from Exmouth in Devon, Woodbury Park is home to fantastic golf, leisure and wellbeing facilities as well as an onsite hotel and luxury self-catering lodges. Members enjoy access to a swimming pool, a huge range of weekly live and online classes, wet spa, gym and an Aura Spa.
Resort Director Nick Lawson welcomed the new development; "We were delighted to open our new Group Cycle and High Impact Studios this weekend, almost doubling the capacity of class attendees from our previous studios. By moving our studios to this new area we will then develop our gym floor space with new equipment and offering which should be completed by early November.
Since the pandemic we have seen an increase in people wishing to take more time into their health & wellbeing, and we are proud that we are able to offer to our members these new additions to our club”.
